This type of list is designed to store a larger amount of written text. At the top of the entry is a title line related to the creation date and time of the diary / journal entry. Unlike other list types, the journal entries are not immediately editable: Pressing any specific diary / journal entry opens an editing pane for that entry where the body of the text for the entry can be changed.
From the editing pane, pressing the 'Alter' button shows a pane for changing the date on the current entry.
