Pressing this button reveals the Create panel. The Create panel shows buttons that trigger the creation of one of the eight key styles of list. At the bottom is a link to examples of the different styles: Standard, Checklist, Numbered, Diary, Dual entry, Receipt, Running total and Subtitle.
The new list will have an initial title related to list creation date and time. This title can be changed subsequently. The new title appears at the top of the master pane list, although this position can be changed subsequently also. The currently selected list in the master pane has a grey background.
The appearance of the time component of the creation date and time text can be changed via the Settings application on the device.
